About me:
My name is Autum and I am the owner of Peace of Mind. First off, welcome to my website! Peace of Mind offers many spiritual services including tarot readings, meditation lessons, home and spiritual cleansing, and custom jewelry. I have been studying tarot, divination, and meditation for 8 years. I have been reading tarot for 2 years for friends and family.
Often it is a concern that these practices (whether that is tarot or meditation) could be against your particular religion. I try not to push my religion on others and its something personal to just me. Just as your faith is personal to you.
Anyone of any faith can meditate. Meditation is just a form of clearing your thoughts, and has as much or as little to do with spirituality as you want it to. If your goal for meditation was to be closer to God then I would give you the tools you need to do that but I would not ask you to change your views to mine.
I believe in the soul and I also believe in a higher power and that there is a divine power guiding us. I think meditation brings you closer to that higher power but it is something personal without a title. To me it does not matter if you are Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, or Wiccan. Any persons spirituality is different from everyone else's. Titles make life confusing and causes negativity.
Many faiths read tarot. How I personally view tarot is a door to a new perspective. I do not believe that the tarot can tell the future. The future is not fixed. Every decision we make shapes our future. What tarot does is opens our eyes to our problems and shows different avenues to view them and eventually lead to the solution with the least negativity.
